My interest in women’s health began with my own experience. Over the past six years, I have tried to understand my body better and learn more about the relationship between hormones, strength training, and nutrition. That personal interest has gradually developed into a broader curiosity about how women’s health is researched, explained, and communicated.
I first came across Dr. Stacy Sims through another podcast and have followed her work ever since. So I learned about this podcast led by a pro athlete, researchers and a tech leader and the way it connects research on female physiology with practical guidance on exercise, nutrition, and performance.
When information is factual and clearly communicated, it can go a long way towards helping people better understand their bodies.
Did I fan-girl a little over this? Yes, I did.
